Lisbon-Viola May Prasco, 94, SR 518, passed away at 10:15 AM Monday, May 2, 2011 at Blossom Nursing Home.
Born August 26, 1916 in Lisbon, she was a daughter of the late Clyde and Ada (Clapsaddle) McDevitt.
A homemaker, she also worked as a teacher's aide at McKinley Elementary School for a number of years.
She was a member of New Lisbon Presbyterian Church, the West point Lions Club, Lisbon Senior Citizens, and Caldwell Rebekkah Lodge. In addition, she was an avid bowler for many years.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed by her children Philip (Julia) Prasco of Houston, TX, Karen (Wayne) Binsley of Hanoverton, Michael (Gale) Prasco of Salem, and Richard (Barbara) Prasco of Lisbon; her sister Mary Merlene Remesik of Canton; 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Her husband Albert A. Prasco whom she married February 13, 1936 died in 1993. Also deceased are a daughter Judith Mary Wright, sisters Mildred Lindner, Mabel Peterson, and Betty Dickens, and a brother Herman Clyde McDevitt.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at the Weber Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Wilds officiating. Burial will be in Lisbon Cemetery. Friends may call 4 to 7 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
