Wanda Jean (Jackson) Grimes

Lisbon -           W. Jean Grimes,59, passed away at her home early Wednesday morning January 9, 2019.

Born May 17, 1959 in Salem, she was a daughter of the late Darrel L. and Olive Katherine (Cannon) Jackson.

A homemaker, she is survived by her husband, Jack E. Grimes whom she married June 27, 1981; two children: Jackson (Andrea) McKee of Austintown and Catherine (Brandon) Grimes of Cornersburg; five grandchildren: Brandon, Brianna, Colin, Olivia, and Evan; and five siblings: Darrel (Anna) Jackson of Columbiana, James Jackson of Lisbon, O. Catherine (John) Hinton of Leetonia, Michelle Nicholson of Glenmoor, and Bruce (Teresa) English of Mingo Junction.

She was preceded in death by her sister Darla Kay Jackson and step-father Robert E. Nicholson.

She was a member of Lisbon Eagles Aerie 2216 Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed crossword puzzles, board games, and old television shows.

There will be memorial service for Jean at 2:00 PM Friday, January 18 at Crossroads Church, 554 S. Meridian Rd., Youngstown, OH with Pastor Dave Watkins officiating.

Due to allergies, please restrict floral tributes to plants.
