Lisbon - William J. Brant, 74, passed away Friday morning at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown following a lengthy illness.
Born April 15, 1943 in Luxor, PA, he was a son of the late Paul J. and Edith M. (Leonard) Brant.
He worked as a truck driver for many years and retired from H & F Murray Trucking.
Bill enjoyed woodworking. He made much of the furniture in his house. Gardening and working outside were favorite pastimes as well. He enjoyed tending his flower gardens and working in his garage.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia (Johnson) Brant whom he married October 25, 1985; his children Sandra (Dan) Gruszecki of Leetonia, James McCluskey of Leetonia, and Scott McCluskey of Canton. There are ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren as well as his siblings Patricia King, Darlene Garris and Paul and James Brant.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Dolores Turn.
