Bill was born May 8,1956 in Salem, OH.
A 1974 graduate of Lisbon David Anderson High School and life long resident. He was an avid bowler and the long-time proprietor of Holiday Lanes in Lisbon and worked for many years with the Lisbon Cemetery. He loved his community and following local sports as well as the Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers, Indians and The Ohio State University Buckeyes. He was also passionate about NASCAR.
He was a loving son, brother and uncle. Survivors include his mother, Joann (Robert) Cope Whitacre of Lisbon, a brother, Robert Gaston of Columbus, a sister, Barbara (Percy) Bussard of Lisbon and nephew, Nathan Bussard, of Lisbon, nephew, Corey (Caleigh) Bussard of Bridgeville, PA and a niece, Chelsea (Kenny) Wilson of East Palestine.
Great nephews, Jaden, Gage,Clayton, Sawyer and great niece Emilene. Many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and cherished friends.
He was preceded in death by brother, Benjamin Gaston and grandmothers, Zelda Gaston and Veda Cope.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the Weber Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at the Weber Funeral Home. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Lisbon Cemetery.
