Lisbon -William G. Hugar, 68, of Saltwell Road went home to be with the Lord at 6:56 PM Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at the Hospice House.
Born February 27, 1943 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late William G. and Virginia Hugar.
He worked as a fitter/welder at NRM Corp. for 25 years and then as an assembler at Specialty Switch in Washingtonville, retiring in November 2010.
Bill enjoyed motorcycles, cars, and his family and friends. He was a member of the Shelby Car Club and the Tri-State Car Club, and was a former member of the Gold Wing Road Riders.
A loving husband and father, he is survived by his wife, Mary L. (Stoyanchul) Soules-Hugar whom he married in 1990; children David Hugar of Unity, William Hugar of East Palestine, Robert (Sherry) Soules of Salem, Lynn Thompson-Fabian of Kensington, and Daniel Soules of Salem; a brother, Robert (Sarah) McGraw of East Palestine; 11 grandchildren: Kiara, William G., Sabrina, and Xena Hugar, Michael and Jennifer Thompson-Balint, Julia Soules, Lorrie Naylor, Matthew, Mitchell, and Brittany Soules; and 6 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be he held at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Weber Funeral Home with Terry Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
